Black Panther, Black History Month

In celebration of Black History month, I did this look as my look for the premier of the new movie – Blank Panther, the first ever black superhero movie.

The movie Black Panther is a 2018 American superhero film with some impressive black cast starring Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa / Black Panther, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker.

The raves about this film as been very impressive and it is getting praise for the direction, costume, action scenes , soundtrack, and performances of the cast.

Wearing this gorgeous African print (Ankara material) custom fitted dress. This sleeveless dress curves to the body on the top and flows free on the bottom all the way to the toe.

The goal for the look was to keep the colors on the eyes as neutral as possible. Extended eyeliner on the wing and inner tear duct/ inner corner of the eye game it a dramatic look.

I went with one of my favorite fall matte lipstick called Savage, by Dose of Colors

A little smokiness on the outer-V helped stepped up this look. I added sparkles using a glitter liner from urban decay

In honor of Black History Month, looking forward and thankful for where we’ve been, where we are and where we are going.
